Shining Stars – Special Needs Dance Classes
Studio Dance Arts, a new studio located
in Marquette township, knows the importance of making dance accessible and fun
for all. They’ve created a unique, fun filled program using music, props, and
choreography to add joy through movement to your child's day.
This class will be offered
for students with down syndrome, Autism and other developmental disabilities.
Through this class your child will improve motor skills, confidence, and
socialization all while having the opportunity to explore dance in a friendly
and motivating environment. Special needs dancers will have the opportunity to
perform with their costume in the year end show.
Currently they are waiting
to find enough interested people to schedule a six-week class. To express your interest, call
379-0525. A description of the class
can be found on their website under “open sessions” http://www.studiodancearts.com
